    Let there be light

Today, I received the LED kit for my "under the tank" accent lights (yes...now I am LUCKY). I am not 100% sure, but I don't think these were made in the US of A. Here is exactly what the back of the package reads in ENGLISH (along with my observations):

    FEATURES
    • Just sticking on len of clear surface of head light or rear light. What is a "len"?

    • Vibrant head light/rear light is available. For parties and bar mitzvahs!

    INSTALLATION

    • Clean the surface of len from dust, oil, and other debris before sticking this lamp. Stick this lamp where the len don't shine!

    • Peel off the cover sheet of tape and stick strongly on the len of head light or rear light. Maybe Tazan wrote this...

    • Join the clear cord with body earth (-). Connect the clear/white cord to small lamp (+). I think they mean GROUND, not earth. Maybe I'm wrong. Or should I say, "I'm not correctly."

    NOTICE

    • Opening & reassembling product is prohibited. As well as an open container on a watercraft!

    • Do not make mistake for joining of (+) and (-) terminal. For you will burn them out.

    • For getting effective fixation. Do not touch the double adhesive tape within 24 hour after sticking. Are we still talking about the len, or have we now moved on to a different catagory of product?

    • Do not place this product on leather or cotton or uneven surface. It will easily get detachment. Or a nasty rash.

    • Detachment of this product can damage the len of light. Please do it patiently. Not to mention the expensive paint job on your bike. But let's not take away from the importance of the len.

    • Repairing or cutting wire is dangerious. And not nearly as fun as sticking your tongue on the battery posts.

I am certainly glad to see that communication between fellow bikers crosses all language barriers!

    Ride safe,
    Chris
