Trying not to be a, ya know... "B" word This weekend was my first lesson on the new bike. It went OK. There were no tears -- which is good -- but it was hot, so there was lots of sweat. I expected that. What I didn't expect was to find my shins covered in bruises. See, Aaron had me walking the bike, and every time I stepped, my shins hit the pegs. Over and over, resulting in some lovely bruises. I would not say that I'm a natural by any sense of the word, but at least I didn't cry or fall over (yet). Aaron's taking my bike to work tomorrow, so that he can mess around with it there. He got a nice fresh tank of gas in it tonight. Perhaps I will be riding soon and won't be the "bitch" anymore! |
